Bilateral Proficiency Test

The accreditation body is breathing down your neck? You need a proficiency test for your initial accreditation / accreditation extension at short notice and it is not offered right now?

Then the bilateral proficiency test is a very good option for you.

Here’s how it works:

1. You contact us at bilateral (@) ifep.de and we work out an individual program for you
2. We send you the remaining material from a suitable proficiency test and the original participant documents.
3. You conduct the tests according to these instructions.
4. You send the results back to us in any form, with direct support (no online transmission required).
5. We perform an individual evaluation of your data and summarize it in a detailed result sheet (in lieu of the certificate).
6. We send you the result sheet and the report by e-mail (subject to receipt of payment)
7. Costs: List price plus 100 € for bilateral (individual) evaluation and help plus the usual shipping costs (D free, e.g. AT: 25 €, see ifep.de).
8. If it is really urgent; 2-3 business days and we are through

– Hardness testing according to Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell, ISO and ASTM
– OES on unalloyed, low alloyed and high alloyed steels
– OES on various AL alloys
– NSS test
– IK according to ISO and ASTM
– Tensile tests on steel and Al alloys, flat (incl. heavy plate) / round, fabricated and unfinished specimens, bolts, rebars
– NDT: UT (weld or wall thickness), MT, VT, RT, PT, HT, ET
– Metallography
– Notched bar impact test (20 J – 200 J), fabricated/unfabricated specimens
– Coordinate metrology
– Roughness measurement
