The Institut für Eignungsprüfung, IfEP, is an independent German service institute providing proficiency tests and producing reference materials in the field of mechanical testing, metallography and related areas.

It is IfEP’s aim to be viewed by our customers as the best provider of proficiency tests.

All specimen used in proficiency tests or as reference material were produced in IfEP´s manufacture.

We offer our customers a premium program of proficiency tests and are distinguished through our motivation and flexibility.

Milestones

The company in retrospect

2009

In 2009 the working field was extended to the production of certified reference material (Charpy V- notch specimens and tensile test specimens on steel).

December, 2005

IfEP GmbH was founded in December 2005 to carry out proficiency tests in the field of mechanical technological, metallographic and related test methods.

April, 2000

Foundation of the Institut für Eignungsprüfung Ingenieurgesellschaft GbR (IfEP).
